|Walk for Our Buddies is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to creating awareness and building community for
individuals with Down Syndrome in Bradford and Sullivan Counties, PA. Walk for Our Buddies uses proceeds from
events to provide small grants to families and individuals with Down Syndrome in Bradford and Sullivan Counties, PA.

Down Syndrome Acceptance and Awareness
For FREE this year, runners can buddy with (run
for) an individual with Down Syndrome!
If you'd like, you can request a specific Buddy.
Otherwise our Buddy Coordinator will pair you up!
Runners will receive a ribbon they can wear to
show their support as well as a picture of the
individual they're buddied with. We hope to connect
runners and their Buddies at the Park after the

|The 4th Annual Walk for Our Buddies
at Larnard-Hornbrook Park in Towanda, PA
on Saturday October 3rd, 2020!
Registration is FREE and Teams are forming now!
The Walk is a one-mile relaxed walk on a stroller friendly path entirely within the park.
There will be music, food, vendors,
a basket raffle and more at this family friendly party at the park.
On-Site Registration will be open from 9am to 10:45am.
The Walk will begin at 11am.
Walk for Our Buddies has partnered with Bradford County Park's
Sheshequin Path Half Marathon to "Buddy Up" Half Marathon participants with
individuals with Down syndrome.
Runners and Buddies will have an opportunity to meet after the Walk and
Half Marathon! The Walk is planned so that it ends in time for walkers to cheer in
runners from the Sheshequin Path Half
Marathon finishing in the Park!
